No Star Wars game has ever been as cool as this mod was. Slowly working to save up enough for my own YT-1300, then my own strike cruiser, and eventually my own Star Destroyer and Super Star Destroyer. The missions incorporated almost all the EU lore, ships, characters and storylines. You now started out with a Lambda Shuttle and start in the Star Wars universe. The modding community was pretty active, so much so that eventually an entire Star Wars overhual had been created. the game was simple and really fun for the sci-fi minded. The missions are mostly just a few paragraphs of a story then you piloting to where ever and landing while hoping you don't get killed by pirates or the enemies of whatever faction you have aligned yourself with. The game featured a top down space faring game(kinda like Asteroids, but with better graphics), starting with a small shuttle you travel between star systems getting jobs and buying upgrades and bigger&better ships. Just a little background on EV: Nova, it's the third and final installment of the Escape Velocity games. The best Star Wars Mod was for an old mac game called Escape Velocity Nova.
